Heat pumps absorb heat from the surrounding air then, via a durable titanium transference system, that same heat goes into your swimming pool, keeping it warm all year round.
There are real benefits to having a usable pool twelve months of the year. The whole family can enjoy it more often, and older family members avoid the negative effects of cold water swimming.
Your existing pool pump draws cool water through the heat pump unit, so no separate pump is needed.
A fan inside the heat pump draws ambient air across the outer evaporator coil. A refrigerant liquid absorbs the heat from this air, even on cool or cloudy days.
The absorbed heat turns the refrigerant from a liquid into a hot gas via a compressor. This hot gas passes through the titanium heat exchanger, transferring its heat directly into the pool water.
Warmed water returns to the pool. On each pass through the heat pump, the water heats by approximately three to four degrees centigrade, and the cycle repeats continuously and economically throughout the day.
